Government Schemes, Rebates and Grants

You might be eligible for various concessions offered by Realm on behalf of the Queensland and NSW Government. Eligibility criteria vary and may change over time. Please review the details for each concession, grant, and rebate to determine if you qualify.

Applying for the Electricity Rebate Eligible customers who meet the conditions for the rebate, as outlined above, can apply for the rebate through their Retailer, either by submitting a written Application for Electricity Rebate or by calling their Retailer. Those in Queensland may also be eligible for the Home Energy Emergency Assistance Scheme (HEEAS).

  • is for Queensland households experiencing problems paying their electricity or reticulated natural gas bills as a result of an unforeseen emergency or a short-term financial crisis that has occurred within the past 12 months.
  • is a one-off emergency assistance to help with paying your home energy bills
  • pays up to $720 once every 2 years.
